Rays pottery is earthenware clay, decorated with lively coloration using slips - oxides & commercial stains.
Some are abstract, others have detailed images of birds - fish & animals. All are hand thrown & decorated & mostly functional. I am self taught & just enjoy making things out of clay. I am influenced by English country pottery & the outstanding Cornish environment, which can be relaxing & stimulating at the same time.
