David and Margaret Frith made time in their busy schedule of potting and kiln installation to give a warm and enjoyable master class at Falmouth in May. Their techniques and partnership working were an inspiration to all and Margaret’s presentation, with history of their early working days, showed that it is possible to make a working life from pottery though not without hard work and dedication. None of this has diminished their humour and love of their art and their practical tips and experience should be helpful to all of us. The Friths returned from Cornwall to prepare for a major exhibition at Rufford and those who could the visit north would not be disappointed.
