CHRIS HAWKINS
I have been potting for over 30 years, I originally trained as a production thrower and over those years I have developed my work through Stoneware, Earthenware & Raku.
I have spent the last ten years concentrating on Raku refining the copper matt technique to achieve bright colours with a semi sheen to the surface.
Alongside producing my own work I worked as a ceramics & glass technician & part-time lecturer at Plymouth College of Art & Design.
I am now after many years producing raku looking at experimenting again with Stoneware.

		CHLOE HARFORD Soon after finishing an ND in Design Crafts at Plymouth College of Art & Design I started making animal sculpture. I model each original piece & then after making my own plaster moulds for casting, each animal is put together by hand, I have taken to giving them a fair bit of altering by hand giving them their own twists to give that bit of individuality. I also make larger Limited Edition pieces and am planning to make handbuilt pieces to compliment my smaller cast pieces. All my work is Raku fired and the combination of fully glazed pieces, black & white, & coloured slip work.
