I work with a smooth, white earthenware clay, producing
a range of functional and brightly decorated domestic ware. Most of
my work is thrown on the potter's wheel, then decorated with coloured
slips and other pigments and raw glazed, fired just once, in an electric
kiln to cone 2 (1100 degrees C). My work is available from several galleries
in Devon and Cornwall including the National Trust galleries at Cotehele
House and Saltram House; the CCA at Trelissick Gardens and Trelowarren
both in Cornwall. I also attend a series of potter’s and craft fairs
through the year. I have a studio on my smallholding, visitors are most
welcome but please telephone to arrange a convenient moment.
