Heather Swain makes hand thrown and built tableware featuring animals in colourful settings. Puffins, speckled hens, sheep,pigs and more are in relief on mugs,jugs,bowls ,jars etc.
She specialises in shaped toastracks which are included in "British Ceramic Toastracks for Collectors" by Peter and Margaret Crumpton.
Heather's work is made in red earthenware with a creamy slip , decorated in underglaze colours and covered in a transparent glaze..
